Chico Cheerleading teaches young athletes to learn new skills and build their confidence! Registration for the 2025

REGISTRATION OPENING: May 15 th – June 30th
**Registration fee includes the cost of the bow, crop, bloomers, and shoes. Parents will need to provide
fitted black leggings, white no-show socks and a jacket if needed. A plain, waist length black jacket in good condition,
may be worn at games, or one can be purchased at the uniform fitting for $60 via cash, check, or Venmo.

Cheerleaders are asked to arrive in a bathing suit or gymnastics leotard.
NO MAKEUP is allowed during the fitting! Cheerleaders will be trying on actual uniforms that will be
used during the season and we cannot chance getting makeup on the uniforms.
Parents will receive an email prior to the fitting with more details and information.
Whaling Days Practice:
July 24th and possibly 25th , from 5 to 7pm
All cheerleaders for the 2025 football season are encouraged to attend.
To participate in the parade, athletes must attend practices.
Brief parent meeting at 7pm on July 24th .

Summer Practice:
Starting July 28th!
Parent Meeting on July 28 at 5pm
Practices are Monday through Thursday- 5pm to 7pm. Friday practices will be utilized if practice is
canceled due to inclement weather.
Practice Attire:
Shorts or properly fitted gym pants, a t-shirt, socks, and athletic sneakers with proper
soles. (Slip-on sneakers will not be permitted.) Long hair should be pulled back into a ponytail. No
spaghetti-strap shirts, visible midriffs, or excessively short shorts. Due to safety concerns, the athlete
cannot wear jewelry, chew gum, jeans, a skirt, flip-flops, or dress shoes to practices, games, and
events.
Practice starts promptly at 5pm. Athletes are expected to attend all practices each week in their entirety.
If a cheerleader fails to attend at least one practice in any given week, it will be at the discretion of the
coach as to whether the athlete will cheer at the upcoming game. Missing continuous practices,
arriving late, or leaving early may result in removal from skill-based stunts and/or
performances.
Post Labor Day
Practices will switch to two days a week. Exact days will be specified closer to the start of the
season.
5 to 7pm
An additional practice could be held on a Friday evening at coaches’ discretion.
Games will be on Saturdays and the game schedule will be announced as soon as it is released.
Uniforms:
Pom-poms and Bows are being donated this year by one of our amazing Sponsors JD Cooper out of Seabeck.
Black leggings will be utilized at the coach’s discretion depending on the weather conditions during
games.
It is required that the uniform only be worn at games and kept in pristine condition during the season.
Do not eat or drink anything other than water while in uniform to avoid stains.
Light makeup may be worn while in uniform. When applying the makeup, make sure your cheerleader
is already in uniform, and a cover is draped over the uniform to keep it protected.

FULL PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEE is required at the time of registration.

VOLUNTEERING & OPTING OUT:
Concession Volunteer Deposit: $150/child must be made at uniform handout. (this is refundable when you volunteer in the concession stand for a 2 hour shift)
Concession Volunteer Opt Out Fee: This is offered at the time of registration online. $150/child must be paid with registration if you choose not to volunteer in the concession stand. This is NOT refundable. If you pay the fee and then decide to volunteer this fee will not be refunded.
Please note that the ONLY person exempt from 2 hours in the concession stand is the HEAD COACH of a team. If a coach has more than one child playing they are exempt for the child who's team they are coaching only.
Chico Pee Wee Association is a 100% VOLUNTEER functioning organization. This means without volunteers our children do not play sports at Chico.
